Did you Feel the Earth Move in Les Arcs Yesterday?

A 2.2 magnitude quake in Sainte Foy reported yesterday

featured in News & reviews Author Ellie Mahoney, Les Arcs Editor Updated

Yesterday morning just before 9am, a small earthquake of 2.1 or 2.2 magnitude was felt in the Sainte Foy area.

It's epicentre is believed to have been around 10km underground East of Sainte Foy and Bourg St Maurice, and due south of Courmayeur in Italy.

In late November a 3.3 magnitude quake was felt in the Chamonix valley, not a common occurrence, but one that definitely made us all sit up and wonder what was going on.
