Quiksilver searches for stars of tomorrow
by James Fisher | Ski Video Reporter | published 4-Feb-2010
Quiksilver and Roxy have launched an innovative, new challenge: to find the best kid capable of following in the footsteps of Torah Bright, Travis Rice, Mathieu Crépel or even Candide Thovex.
A European competition open to all boys and girls aged between 8 and 13, who can snowboard or ski.
The prize is taking part in the European Winter X Games in Tignes (France) in 2010, one week’s summer camp and nothing less than a year’s contract riding for the Quiksilver or Roxy team.
Participating Quiksilver and Roxy shops will be transformed for the occasion into talent-spotters, with the winning shop being awarded a week in the Hossegor “Quik house”, as well as an invitation to the Winter X Games Europe, held in Tignes.
The budding champion has to complete three stages to realise his or her dream: riding for Quiksilver or Roxy side by side with his or her idols!
The competiton is now closed and the selected videos will be with us shortly, so check back soon to see the stars of the future.
