Experience the La Folie Douce's infamous après-ski on the slopes of Les Arcs.

After the first Folie Douce opened in 1980, it quickly became THE place to be for après-ski on the slopes. Their unique combination of live music, DJs, dancers and performers have proved to be successful in many resorts including Val d'Isère, Val Thorens, Méribel, Alpe d'Huez as well as Mégève.

La Folie Douce invites all generations to experience immense, fun-filled moments with a concept adapted to cater to all. Whether it be family, friends, young or old, there really is something for everyone. Guests can enjoy one of the bar's famous shows, all accompanied by progressive DJ sets, live concerts and aerial spectaculars from the in-house team of performers.

Accessed by foot, on skis or via the Gondola des Villards, La Folie Douce offers longer opening hours than other mountain bars. Open from 09:00 and staying open until 19:00 daily and until 20:30 on Wednesdays - Fridays. For pedestrian return access, the Villards Gondola runs until 19:00 everyday and extended to 20:00 on Wednesday - Friday.

Alongside the bar, the venue also features three restaurants on site: La Fruitière, La Petite Cuisine and Le Butcher. Each restaurant has a culinary menu devised by executive chef Franck Mischler, specific to their individual vibes. The venue can easily accommodate up to 1,100 people daily (and always with a smile).

La Folie Douce also provides a brilliant space for your private events for a minimum of 50 people, day or night, with or without performers. The spaces available for private hire are:

  • VIP area: 100 people
  • La Petite Cuisine: 150 people
  • La Fruitière: 100 people
  • Reception room: 200 people
