The resort has a large indoor / outdoor pool where you can swim between the two. There is also a separate kids pool for the little ones.

The Bar

This sophisticated chic area has a truly authentic cosy chalet feel with its rustic wooden interior, large log fire place and armchairs and sofas you can just sink into. Restaurants nearby

There are many excellent restaurants in Peisey/Vallandry. In Vallandry there are lots of brilliant restaurants to choose from so here are a few: Le Bergerie de Raphael, Le Vanoise hotel restaurant and Le Vache. The Bergerie is a decadent Savoie restaurant with fabulous service and delicious food it is situated on the side of the Morey piste just above the Vallandry chairlift. The Vanoise hotel restaurant is a lovely restaurant in the Vanoise hotel. You can find it in Plan Peisey on the side of the Paney piste, just above the Peisey chairlift. It has a wonderful menu including many savoyarde specialities. Le Vache is a cozy restaurant with English staff and a very varied menu. It's situated just next to the Parchey chairlift. If you're in Peisey there are two excellent restaurants: L'Ancolie and Le Fer à Cheval. L'Ancolie is a gorgeous family run restaurant that you have to book. Their food is all locally sourced and changes with whatever is in season. You can find it on the road to Peisey Nancroix after Moulin on the left handside in a very rustic looking family chalet. Le Fer à Cheval is a small family run restaurant that is next door to the stables in Peisey Nancroix. The food is simple but excellent with very generous portions and sterling service.

Sights nearby

The Mont Blanc is visible from all of the Les Arcs villages. There are two very special places that you need to visit in Peisey but unfortunately one of them can only be reached during the summer months. Notre Dame de Vernettes is a beautiful chapel at the top of a hill that is magnificently painted inside. You can reach the chapel by skiing (you must have a good level) or either hiking up from Vallandry (it's signposted) or from Peisey Nancroix there is a road you can follow. You can also horseride up. The second place that you need to visit is Lac de la Plagne. This is quite a long hike to the lake at the end but the way there is is fairly gentle and goes through the Vanoise National Park. You start at the very end of Peisey Nancroix valley and follow the signs, even if you stay around this area you will see some beautiful sights.

Things to Do nearby

In the winter there is a vast ski/snowboard area that links up with La Plagne to create the Paradiski area, one of the largest in the world. There is an excellent Ski Nordique centre in Peisey Nancroix which is good for beginners and professionals. In the Summer in the same area, there are some of the best mountain bike trails in Europe in this area. There are also great hiking routes and pony trails. There is a brilliant horse riding facility in Peisey Nancroix.

Lifts/Pistes nearby

There are 4 chairlifts that get you up the slopes from Vallandry. There is the Vallandry chairlift right next to the main village above ESF, the Grizzly which is at the top of the village next to L'Orée de cimes appartments and spa, the Peisey chairlift next to the Vanoise gondola and the Parchey next to the Vache restaurant in Plan Peisey. If you are in the lower Peisey villages most chalet companies will have bus transfers available or there is a free local bus service that can take you to Vallandry or to the Lonzagne (lobster/yoghurt pots) lift. There is also the Vanoise Express gondola link to La Plagne slap bang in the middle of Vallandry/Peisey.

Nightlife nearby

The busiest village in Peisey/Vallandry is definitely Vallandry. The best bar to go to is the Bar Mont Blanc situated next to the piste directly underneath the Grizzly chairlift. They have very decent food, live music and comedy nights. Another bar in Vallandry with a slightly different vibe is Mojos bar located in the main village underneath the Peisey chairlift. If you are in any of the Peisey villages and don't fancy travelling up to Vallandry there is Greg's bar in Peisey village. They also do food.

Visitor comments

  • "We spent a week in the summer at this Club Med and it was everything we wanted in a vacation. We got a Family room with a view and we were happy with our choice even though we did not spend much time in the room." - Trip Advisor
  • "This Club Med was our first club med experience and it was a great one. Ski on, ski off, they made it so easy for our family of 5 with small children to experience the snow. We felt it safe for our older sons (8 and 10) to have their own key to come and go as they pleased while the adults did their own ski lessons." - Trip Advisor
