This ski and snowboard school offer off-piste ski guiding with fully qualified British instructors so you can enjoy the best spots in the Paradiski area in safety.

AIM Snowsports was set up by John Paul McCarthy, a fully qualified British instructor who has successfully created a school of like minded, passionate snowsports professionals, who care about promoting safe and enjoyable skiing experiences. As a result, the school has earned an excellent reputation for providing first class tuition and guiding with friendly, expert instructions who can make all the difference to your ski holiday in Les Arcs.

They offer off-piste guiding to confident piste skiers and can take you on some amazing adventures which include famous routes such as the Aiguille Rouge, Aiguille Grive and Comborciere. They'll find you the best powder spots but they will never put fresh-tracks before your safety - their instructors treat both your and their safety as paramount. Off piste ski guiding is available from the following resorts: Les Arcs 1600, Les Arcs 1800, Arc 1950 and Les Arcs 2000 and Vallandry.

In addition to off piste skiing and snowboard, the company provide lessons for all ages and abilities, from complete beginners through to confident skiers and snowboarders who are looking to sharpen their skills on the mountain.

Visitor comments

  • "This was our third season having lessons with JP - we find him to be informative, patient and fun. We are intermediate skiers but often need that first day confidence boost after experiencing the feeling of "I've forgotten how to ski" from the previous season. That feeling is gone within the first five minutes and we progress and learn new skills to make the rest of our holiday very enjoyable. Will be using for a fourth season in 2017!" - Trip Advisor
  • "I felt I was a poor intermediate skier that had lost confidence so decided to book a 3 hour lesson with AIM. It was my first lesson as an adult for many years - I felt nervous and a little intimated. I really shouldn't have as my instructor was friendly and immediately put me at ease. He was positive, encouraging and helped me feel in control of my skiing and so by the end if my lesson I was feeling so much more confident - in his words, I could now ski down almost anything with confidence and that really stayed with me! I would definitely recommend AIM - very worthwhile & money well spent." - Trip Advisor
