UCPA Holiday Centre, Les Arcs 1600

Fully inclusive activity holidays in a great ski in ski out location

featured in Hostels

Not your regular hostel, this holiday centre is run by UCPA who offer affordable, all-inclusive activity holidays in Les Arcs. This centre is located right on the pistes just above Arcs 1600 - it could not be more ski in - ski out!

Situated 15 minutes walk from Arc 1600, this is one of the biggest, most impressive holiday centres in the UCPA programme with a capacity for 460 people.

Rooms are sold on a multi-share basis and each sleeps up to 4 people. Communal bathroom and toilet facilities are just a few steps away in the corridor. Given the volume and array of facilities in this accommodation, it is a great choice for a large group of friends or a sports club looking to keep costs reasonable.

The UCPA staff lay on a low key entertainment programme each week for the enjoyment of guests, but there are also three resident's bars, three restaurants, a TV lounge and a nightclub within the centre. Combine this with the fact that you can even rent and service your skis/boards on site, you'll just have no reason to leave the premises except to ski!

What's included

UCPA holiday centres can only be booked as part of their all-inclusive holidays and the prices include:

  • 7 nights accommodation
  • Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner
  • Lift Pass
  • Ski / Board Hire
  • Instruction

Do the sums - a lift pass alone costs more than 200€, ski hire 100€ and instruction more than 250€!

Worth knowing

On-site parking is very limited at the holiday centre but there is an outdoor public car park only 100m away.

The Bar

The centre has three separate resident's bars for a spot of apres ski or a social drink in the evenings, as well as its own nightclub. You may find that you don't feel the need to explore the entertainment options available in other parts of the resort at all!

The Restaurant

There are three dining rooms in the centre where a buffet-style breakfast is served each morning, comprising yoghurts, cereals, fruit juice, coffee and fresh bread. Then you can prep yourself a picnic style lunch from a great selection of breads, meats, cheeses, pasta, salad, fruit, sweets etc. Taking a picnic lunch with you means maximising your time on the slopes whilst minimising damage to your wallet. However, should the weather not be conducive to picnicking, you can also return to the centre for a hot lunch.

The 4-course dinner is also served buffet style with a varied and colourful salad bar, a choice of 3 or 4 main courses, a selection of cheeses and a tempting array of desserts, fruit and ice-cream for afters. Specific dietary requirements should be made known to reception staff at check-in but generally, vegetarians will find sufficient choice within the buffet.
