Club Med expansion in Les Arcs

More modern design & high end accommodation for resort

After the arrival of its first five star hotel this winter, Les Arcs is set to have another new accommodation complex built, bringing yet more modern building design to the resort.

Club Med will start work on building their new '4 trident' resort in Arc 1600 this week, which will bring an additional 1,050 beds and will be open to guests in both winter and summer.

The building design looks pretty impressive, with a curvilinear design and lots of light wood and open spaces, making it really stand out from some of the older hotels and residences in resort. The addition of the five star Taj-i-Mah hotel last December saw a welcome change move away from older architectural styles, as well as adding a luxury offer and this new Club Med development seems to be moving that forward.

The new Arc 1600 complex will also have '5 trident' areas offering yet more luxurious options for visitors to resort and is set to open in December 2018.

Club Med's expansion also sees them opening a new 'Club Med Village' complex in Samoens in December 2017.
